On Wednesday, 26th January 2022, the English reading competition finally took place again after a year’s break due to the pandemic. Based on competitions within the classes, each of the five parallel classes of grade 7 had chosen a class winner beforehand: Amina Gabor (7a), Ipek Tekin (7b), Carlotta Höfle (7c), Jane Shin (7d) and Aditya Srivastava (7e). All participants were well prepared and highly motivated, so that the jury, consisting of two students of the LK English, two English teachers, and, last but not least our British language assistant Stephen Buckley, had to face a difficult task! In the end, Carlotta Höfle won and Ipek Tekin came in second. We congratulate and thank all participants for their great performance. And of course, we will keep our fingers crossed for Carlotta when she represents our school at the reading contest of all European schools in Essen on city level!
Die Werke sind im Rahmen unserer ersten Unterrichtsreihe zum Thema „Gedichte: typisch für ihre Zeit“
