Last month, the tenth English reading competition of the European Schools in Essen took place at the beautiful Mädchengymnasium Borbeck. Our reading champion Miro Altun and the other seventh grade school winners of all member schools demonstrated their excellent reading skills, making it again very difficult for the jury to determine the winner. Our reading champion came second after an outstanding performance.
The reading competition was accompanied by performances of the school band of the MWG as well as by piano music.
As every year, it was a great experience for all participants and we are already looking forward to next year.
