Last month, the nineth English reading competition of the European Schools in Essen took place at the Gymnasium Essen-Überruhr. Our reading champion Faruk Bajric and the other seventh grade school winners of all member schools demonstrated their excellent reading skills, making it again very difficult for the jury to determine the winner. The reading competition was accompanied by performances of the school band of the GEÜ as well as by the band of the MWG.
As every year, it was a great experience for all participants and we are already looking forward to next year.
